The word of the day is espy: To catch sight of.
The first time I espied you, I fell in love.
I have been exhausted for some reason! Not enough sleep, I guess. Yesterday I turned in my choir final and outside listening early (pats self on back) and wrote, filmed AND edited the biology video over a span of 10 hours. Today I felt like death when I woke up. But I think our video was the best one =) I love filming and editing. I love when the music and video are of exact precision. It’s a magical thing. Does that make me nerdy? My favorite part of editing is adding in the soundtrack, pondering and debating between Vampire Weekend and Schubert for an intellectual scene … I think when it comes to video projects I super MICROMANAGE. I am very irritable when other people do not edit/film the angle to my liking. I guess it’s sort of a flaw but I have a very specific vision when it comes to moviemaking. Two movies in two days … we’re superhuman.
I wrote a quick goodbye in Tyna’s yearbook a week ago. Looking back, I realized I owe you more than that. I wrote a letter to stick into her yearbook but … I think I must have dropped it somewhere. Anyway, I need to revise that entry, just a note to self.
I actually did math work in math class today. I started the powerpoint presentation and since Angel put me in charge of it, it’s pink themed! Hahaha. Rushed through the econ final to maximize sleeping time because I was dead tired and quite frankly don’t give a fuck about my grade. Dropped off my yearbook with Alex in 6th period, and came back to ASB to finish up my math presentation. Afterschool went with Boyfriend to the library where we each kind of did our own thing, him at the desk working on math, me running around looking for books to read. I picked up Flowers for Algernon, which, thus far, is totally unputdownable. It’s a wonderful book about a retarded 32-year-old man who undergoes a brain surgery to enhance his IQ. Some parts are sad enough to inspire tears while other parts make me laugh out loud. Charlie is quite a character. Anyway. After that, babe taught me how to explain the math on the powerpoint. Then went to the softball banquet, and then pick up my FIRST PAYCHECK EVER! $200 up. I am SO proud =,D
Officially two days left to breeze through. Then it’s goodbye high school for life. Hello summer. Hello beautiful new beginnings. Goodbye irrelevant things.
